Marie Westermark and her husband Ante run the family restaurant and neighborhood pub, The Chef, in Övik at the harbor entrance in Örnsköldsvik. They chose Trivec because personal interaction was important to Marie.

Improving guest service with a mobile POS system
To Marie, Trivec’s mobile POS (tablet) has made a big difference in improving guest service and sales. By placing the tablet on the outdoor terrace as a complement to the stationary cash register, orders can be sent directly to the bar. This has saved a lot of time as guests can be attended to more quickly. Marie also explains how they have set up the tablet as an additional POS station during lunchtime when all guests are in a bit of a hurry. The tablet became an extra point of sale where orders can be easily sent to the kitchen.
Simple back-office
Marie finds Trivec’s back-office function simple and clear. She says it’s easy to generate reports or create new buttons needed in the POS system. It has also become easier to handle gift cards and reconcile them when they are redeemed. She can also smoothly generate monthly sales reports.
– Overall, I think Trivec’s POS system and its back-office function are easy to understand. If I need help, their support is also very good and reliable, she says.
